i cant beat jack in the chainsaw fight he has infinite health?

ive been trying this fight oveor and over and at this point as i type this ive knocked him down like 50 times literally 50 times and he wont die
and im doing the chainsaw thrust attack. its like he has infinite health
what is wrong

so just to add some context to address all the trolls in this thread
but there is a rare glitch/bug in re7 during the fight with jack. his death animation can sometimes fail to trigger. its based on your fps. most people dont have this bug but a few, some among them me, have gotten it.
i was able to get around it by downloading a trainer program, and enabling one hit kills. it bypassed my problem.

I only bought this game on a sale for $8 because two of my friends assured me that it was their favorite and that I would love it. They're both wonderful human beings, but it's the last time I'll be taking their suggestions for video game purchases. I was always much more of a Silent Hill fan than a Resident Evil fan anyways. The Silent Hill franchise is just better in every way.

A cursory look at my profile shows that I've played the game for 6.9 hours, but I wouldn't expect you to have the intellect to check that before you posted. You are free to enjoy the game, just as I am free to dislike it. It doesn't bother me either way if you love it or hate it. But so far no one here has been able to intelligently refute any of my points, instead opting for the classic "get gud" argument or saying I haven't played long enough. I backed my argument up well enough by myself, and the "Youtube takes" were simply there to show that some others felt the same way as I do.
