i cant beat jack in the chainsaw fight he has infinite health?

ive been trying this fight oveor and over and at this point as i type this ive knocked him down like 50 times literally 50 times and he wont die
and im doing the chainsaw thrust attack. its like he has infinite health
what is wrong

so just to add some context to address all the trolls in this thread
but there is a rare glitch/bug in re7 during the fight with jack. his death animation can sometimes fail to trigger. its based on your fps. most people dont have this bug but a few, some among them me, have gotten it.
i was able to get around it by downloading a trainer program, and enabling one hit kills. it bypassed my problem.

i used both, i tried everything i can do, handgun, chainsaw slash, and chainsaw thrust

I've spent 90 minutes trying to beat him. I've done everything I've possibly could. I made sure to run the game under 60fps. I even changed my monitor to run at 60hz manually. I tried attacking the boss every possible combination. I even learned you can essentially parry any of his attacks by using the thrust attack. I tried using the knife, the gun. I tried only damaging him with slash attacks, and going for the thrust attacks when he's on his knees. I tried the opposite, only thrusting, only slashing. And only thrusting, and only slashing. Nothing fricken works. The boss is literally unkilleable for me.

I gave this game a do not reccomend review and I'm going to try to contact steam support to give me my money back. Fcuk this stupid, unfinishable game...

And before anyone asks yeah I know about the resident evil engine bug where he gets stuck in a loop because something to do with the frame rate and his health not going to 0 because frame rate animation issues. I know about that which is why I mentioned I capped my frame rate under 60 fps/hz.

I don't know why I seem to be one of the handfull of people to have this problem but I'm letting my dissatisfaction be known. I'm upset that I can't progress in this game

If OP's boss fight was bugged, let them be frustrated. Jeez. Lol. I don't understand what people are missing here... just read. It is not a hard boss fight to beat, but if it bugs out for OP, then it bugs out. Unfortunately it is what it is; it sucks and hopefully the game doesn't bug out again in the future for them. Clearly in their description, Tay knows how to defeat Jack, but literally cannot. Is Tay lying? it doesn't matter, lol. Whats one extra negative review against a sea of positive reviews, who cares. That's their experience with the game and its unfortunate nonetheless.

It sucks that happened, because that is a very wacky boss fight that I enjoy. Glad to see you got through it somehow, because I have never heard of that glitch.

Look, another person who didn't read any of my posts. I'll answer your questions in case there's some person who didn't read any thing but your flamebait and troll response and wants some proper context.

1. THE GAME WAS BUGGED. THERE IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE GAME WHERE IF YOU RUN THE GAME AT "TOO HIGH" OF A FRAME RATE (above 60fps) THE DEATH ANIMATION HAPPENS TOO QUICKLY, AND YOU CANT FINISH THE FIGHT.
2. THEY CAN'T BE OVERCOME, THE ONLY SOLUTIONS GIVEN WERE TO RESTART THE GAME UNTIL IT WORKS. I DID 4 TIMES, I PLAYED THE FIGHT 10-15 MINUTES EACH TIME. I GOT SICK AND TIRED, AND INSTALLED A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CHEATING TRAINER PROGRAM TO BEAT IT. ITS ♥♥♥♥♥♥ UP THAT I HAD TO DO IT LIKE THIS.
3. HOW TO OVERCOME. READ THE LAST SENTENCE IN POST 2.
