Washed Out Colors Help
Started game and the colors look washed out/brighter. The steam logo in the bottom right corner when you start a game also looks like a washed out grey instead of its normal color.

I turned off HDR in the settings but the settings in-game wouldn't save. So I saw online somewhere I needed to change the config file to HDRMode=0, which I did, and things are less washed out but still there. Any other solutions?

Have you increased the screen resolution scaling in the settings?

Yes, I set it to resolution scale 2 (the max) which makes the textures better, but not the colors. I also tested out sRGB and the BT.709, but still no luck.

There's an RGB and a BT-something color setting in the game, try switching that

I have already tried that, one of them does make it look a little darker, but the steam overlay and even the in-game menu still looked washed out.

Having the same issue, had to turn off HDR. For whatever reason the HDR brightness setting didn't actually have an effect on the calibration rectangle, unsure if its a compatibility issue with my monitor (as I have tweaked my monitors normal setting extensively)

Oddly though even though the game (and my second monitor not playing the game) looks normal, the steam overlay is still very washed out.
