Since when is RE first person shooter ?

It's listed as first person shooter and I saw some screenshots , I have no information of this game , it will be like the old ones or a new approach ?
Anyone who played all the preview games is looking forward for this ?

So far, it looks/sounds like RE7 will be as much of a first person shooter as RE1 was a third person shooter.

I personally dont like 3rd person very much, thats why RE7 will be my first RE.

It's called progress. The originals only used the fixed angles because of tech limitations.
