Literally unplayable on 4k
How the hell are the graphics so bad and poorly optimized?

Fair point!

This is THE worst thing that can happen in our life time!
Our generation does NOT deserve such treatment!

As a fellow gamer, it is my RIGHT to waste most of my day playing with toys while others work or contribute to society. When that play time is disrupted, I expect the devs to issue a formal apology.

Or I could be rational... because, after all, it is just a toy.

Nah. (^.^)

OK... so I checked... and I don't have 4K.
Since you can't use yours, can I borrow a couple?

Just for now. I'll give them back later. After we get the apology.

Thanks!

For the graphics it produces no way. I may have messed the settings perhaps, I am not saying no to that. But everything is a pixeleted blurry mess with everything set to high and the FPS is very low. I have a i9 9900kf with a gtx 3070 and I should be able to play it with decent graphics without much hassle.

Can I have a serious walkthrough tip as to what I may be doing wrong or is that it?

4k, runs around 100fps with a 3060ti/3700x build. I suspect you need to reinstall your drivers or similar, or your hardware simply isn't capable of 4k.

What hardware do you have?

there is a lot that goes into configuring a computer for gaming, and in game settings max does not always mean best visuals you have to play around with them if you are unfamiliar. The one thing I would give you the benefit of the doubt is the shadows in this game are weird, to fix it put "Reflections" on "Variable". I run RE7 in 4k, max settings (with a few dumb things turned off like motion blur, chromatic aberation etc) and maintain a near constant 135 fps with a ryzen 7 3700x and 2080 super OC.

So there should be some camera effects etc in that scene as your seeing what the camera man is recording. For rendering do you have normal set? As if not you are using a checkboard upscale, which is great if your performance limited but otherwise should not be used.

I played around with the settings and it works now. Damn, that was HORRIBLE! But it looks great now. Time to have a heart-attack

Graphic is terrible... Console game you cant expect much
bigbarrettbob Aug 13, 2021 @ 2:49pm
My guess is you had HDR turned on... which makes it hard to see everything clearly but also is a interesting and creepy way of playing the game.

HDR was off because I was borderless and not full screen and that was part of the problem.
