PS4 Controller Not Being Detected

I've read that the button prompts will be for Xbox but the PS4 controller would still work for this game. What setting do I need to enable for this to happen. Every other game I've played with the PS4 controller had no issue.

either use the mentioned ds4windows or use steams input thing (pretty sure theres a layer that can be used for controller compat)

Sony doesn't exactly support it on PC so outside of 3rd party input device handling support will always be on a game by game basis

Some devs will go above and beyond to recognize it and even have inputs for it, many won't.
