how much time did you spent in the dlcs ?
thanks for the info, i might ony get the base game, 1,30h x 3 for 20e dlc seems a bit overpriced
Remember that Not a Hero is a free DLC so you'll get it either way.
But all in all every DLC together easily tripled my gametime (currently at 44 hours and still some stuff to do) so I'd say it's well worth the price.
End of Zoe is a story DLC and you probably don't want to miss it after you finished the game, the Banned Footage DLCs contain rather short sidestories and some arcade modes that aren't very serious. But still, all the DLCs are really well made.
-- Banned Footage --
>>Nightmare<< is my favorite of the dlc things.
It's just more of the combat you experienced in the base game.
Almost pure combat. It's fun for a while.
>>21<< was pretty fun and strategic.
Quite the surprise even though you're basically just playing cards.
>>Bedroom<< is one big puzzle.
Do exactly this or you'll die.
Really only fun the first time.
>>Daughters<< might be good but I haven't played it yet it's not really.
It's pretty much the same deal as bedroom.
Do exactly this as fast as possible or instant death.
EDIT: Ok after playing it I can say it's very short and pretty unnecessary.
But apparently there's different solutions here.
-- Other Stuff --
>>Not a Hero<< was ok but it brought out the worst in the game.
It had quite a few situations that reminded me of re 5 and 6.
Like cheap surprise moments where enemies just get a free hit or you're swarmed by enemies on very limited space.
Heavily scripted stuff.
Takes place after the base story and involves lucas but nothing ground-breaking.
>>End of Zoe<< was kinda stupid as well.
Jacks brother who is a bigger ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than jack even without being infected by anything but his stupidity is punching mold monsters with his bare hands.
There's a bit of story in there but if you miss it you're not missing much to be honest.
>>Jacks 55th Birthday<< is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weird.
I don't even know what to say about this.
You're mia going around collecting food for jack.
You don't have any weapons, completely defenseless and there's molded everywhere.
Sometimes apparently you can get a timed weapon that one-hits stuff.
I don't know. Seems worthless and stupid.
>>Ethan Must Die<< is the biggest joke so far.
You got only a knife and the first encounter with monsters is two molded and a fat puking molded in an advantages position that you can't even get to.
How this is supposed to work is beyond me.
And apparently you're supposed to find the key to enter the greenhouse to fight marguerite ( without weapons? ).
Complete nonsense, but I may try that again.
-- Conclusion --
My advise: Don't get this game for anything other than the base story.
Everything else is short, tagged-on and just not really worth the money.
Btw, how much were the DLCs on the holiday sale? RE7 was for about 22€, I remember. How much was the Season Pass?
The core game is verry good, i just started to play it but i really enjoy it so i want to know more with the dlcs, that's why i took the gold edition
