So who the ♥♥♥♥ is not a hero?
The title of the DLC is "Not a Hero". Yet it seems to me Chris is the hero he has always been.

Exactly what I was thinking.
Seems like some trolly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to keep people interested.

Cheap bait to keep the conversation/hype going when people finished the game back when it came out.

maybe chris doesnt feel like a hero working with the rebooted umbrella and also losing his whole squad in the process... plus the game is more small scaled in feel so in his perspective he is not a hero XD idk

That was my assumption also. Chris has never really seemed like the kind of guy to act all high and mighty and think of himself as a hero.

yeah some guys trolling... like the main game comes out hours to late in some regions and the dlc too...

It should have been called "No Hero", and then have Chris at some point literally say, "I'm no hero. I'm just doing my job." or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Which doesn't indulge him. He of course did his job well but not enough good to call him a hero.

Uh..."hero" isn't a video game achievement gained by saving a specific number of individuals. Chris would be considered a hero by just about everyone, except for Chris, himself. Which goes back to what I posted. He doesn't feel like he's a hero. Heroes rarely do. Even in his greatest successes, he sees and focuses only on his failures; on those he couldn't save, on decisions he could have made. He's every bit a hero. He's also weighed down by a lifetime of combat, and feeling like for every step forward he takes, the world takes 2 back.

It's called Not a Hero because Chris never considered himself a hero, he explains why here (watch from 2:15):

He didn't save a single soldier. Even though he is a hero by rights, one wouldn't consider themself one if they 'failed' to save the team. That's kinda the point. Sure, it wraps up Lucas arc (but at a cost).

Because making Chris Redfield turncoat would be too interesting of a storyline to create at this point in time. Keep with it the generic stuff guys

He's not a hero because 3 of his team mates died during a "rescue mission" LOL... are you guys really that dense?
And yet he went onto kill the big bad... so... thats heroic?
Not being a hero would be shrugging your shoulders and going "Eh, I tried." then going home.
