Why does Capcom not like Chris and Leon working together?
They only meet twice in the Resident Evil story, literally.

Once in RE6.

Once in RE Vendetta.

Why does Capcom keep them away from eachother so much?

And how did Leon and Chris even recognize eachother in RE6? They had never met eachother....

I suppose they know each other by reading intelligence. Chris was well aware of the Spanish village incident when he mentions in RE5 "They move like the Ganados in Kennedy Report". Hell maybe he knows everything about Ethan and Mia that RE7 didn't tell us.

As for Chris and leon together, i really don't care much seriously.

Honestly, considering what we've got so far from teamming up Chris and Leon are RE6 and RE Vendetta, I'd rather keep them as far from each other as possible.

Because they work for different organizations. Chris is with the BSAA which is an ONG, while Leon works under the US Government. There's no reason for them to be working together unless the plot requires so.

They know each other since 1998. During the events of RECV Claire contacted Leon via e-mail asking him to locate Chris. That's when they met each other for the first time.

Chris had likely stopped answering phone calls and e-mails to prevent being tracked since he had been hidding from Umbrella after the mansion incident, otherwise Claire could have simply contacted his brother directly instead of asking Leon to search for him.

But it doesn't really matter if they met face-to-face or not at that first time. It's been plenty of years anyway and they both had to know each other sooner or later. They were in contact with Claire, and they where both fighting in the shadows to destroy Umbrella at that time.

Things happen, even if we don't see them happening in the games/movies. You can also see how in RE6 Sherry already knows Chris or in RE Vendetta Leon and Rebbecca know each other too.

Leon already got in contact with Chris by the events of RE Code: Veronica. Claire who was captured and held as prisoner by Umbrella at Rockfort island at that time managed to go online and send a distress message to Leon to inform him to find her brother for assistance which Leon did so sucessfully.

Chris also knew about Leon's exploits after the events of RE4 in RE5 where he mentioned about the Las Plagas incident in the "Kennedy Report" during the course of the game. Kennedy being Leon's last name.

Chris and Leon voted in different directions on Trump vs. Clinton. They are not friends anymore.

Put simply...one can move a boulder and the other can't.

If you really like seeing them together, get the new CGI movie that just came out, it's called "Vendetta"

Yet it's hard to say which is tougher, as Leon can land from 20 meters on his back unharmed, and also has the vehicle crash survival record :P

Read the thread, it answers your question.

Oh, yeah. I did read it, but since I forgot the name of the movie was vendetta, I guess I glossed over it.
