[Spoiler] Who did you choose in the end?
I chose Zoe. The whole incident is pretty much Mia's fault (maybe not her fault for creating Evaline) but she must take responsiblity. It was Mia's job to secure Evaline and had orders that if she went out of control, to eliminate her using the necrotoxin. Her failure to perform her duty, cost the lives of every innocent worker on the boat. It caused a quiet family (The Bakers) to go insane and commit horrible experiments and murders for 3 years as they abducted innocent people. She lied to Ethan about who she is and what company she works for. Meanwhile, Zoe has helped you every step of the way. She tells you where to go and what to do, even helps make the cure. Mr Baker, at the end when he is speaking to you normally, asks you to free his family from the virus, saying that he and his wife/zoe aren't killers. They didn't ask for any of this, It would only be right to give the virus to his daughter and fulfill a fathers dying wish.

The whole plot of the game goes against that. Ethan traveled there to find his lost wife. The plot goes from that. And his motivation doesn't change at all. Despite acting a bit crazy, it's pretty obvious without reaching the end explanation that it's all because of the virus. She's still his wife that he mourned for three years.
So no. Choosing Zoe is not a logical thing to do for Ethan. It might be a bit dickish, since she's the one who was helping Ethan, but he's a husband. We saw Zoe in flesh only five minutes prior the decision. It's not a choice between love interests, because Mia already occupies that position.

I'm pretty sure Ethan broke up with Mia because she cheated but then he got an email some weeks later from her

Picking Zoe is such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending. She dies 5 minutes later and you can't save Mia after that. It's like they made it in the last 5 days before release for the sake of variety. Really sucks.

Once again, outright spoiler while not in a spoiler forum. Just like the title. Eh.
I was a bit daunted by that scene, but we do get a different emotional one with Mia.

Mate Ethan legit gets 3d printed 15 seconds in to speed boat n chill

You didn't read what I put. I know that she was infected, I'm not having a go at her for axing and knifing Ethan a hundred times. What I'm having a go at is the fact that she was responsible for keeping Eveline secure. If you read the notes laying around the ship you will read that if Eveline was to go out of control, then Mia had orders to kill her immediately. Due to Mia's incompetance, not only did she not manage do her job in eliminating Eveline, but she got a lot of innocent people killed because of her failure to do so.

Choosing Zoe is entirely logical. Mia is incredibly selfish to not give the cure to Zoe in the first place and say "Hey you know what, it's my bad you're infected and your family is dead, you take the cure Zoe, you haven't done anything wrong".

Ethan doesn't possess that information when making a choice. I'm judging from the protagonist's perspective, not from the players.

Just goes to show how much of an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Mia is then, if shes willing to keep it secret to save her own life despite knowing she is to blame.

She was telling on multiple occasions that she doesn't remember squat due to Emily's "family therapy" and remembers only after watching a video.

Who is Emily?

Mia's a b*tch, IMO. She lied to Ethan thus putting him in a very real danger. From the start Zoe helped and didn't do anything to not trust her. Choice was easy for me as soon as I used serum on Jack. Hell, I would've saved both Bakers, rather than Mia. She is just another gear in the giant mechanism called Umbrella. And unlike some people who worked for Umbrella, she knew what is going on.

*Eveline. I mixed up her name. Whatever. She's Alma!

Oh.

Regardless, forgetting or not. Mia is still to blame for the events. She was aiding in testing bio weapons on a little girl. Feigned feelings to get Evaline to trust her more. Lied to her husband. She's selfish.

I agree with you.

No she never cheated on him she lied to him about her job. He never divorced her because as you can see the video of her saying i'm on my way back to my loving husband is on the same ship you have the flashback in about Evaline escaping.
