Defense Coin, Iron Defense Coin, Assault Coin - Madhouse

Does anyone have any specific stats on each coin for how much the Defense would reduce damage by and how much the Assault Coin increases damage?

Also, does the Defense Coin and Iron Defense Coin stack in terms of damage reduction?

Tried to find the answers but couldn't.

Playing on madhouse and it made me pretty durable during the greenhouse fight. Not sure it's worth taking 2 spots, and I wish there was a better way to tell the effectiveness of it other than trial and error.

well on madhouse for my first playthrough i'm using that first defense coin they give you. though it doesn't seem to make a big difference

That's overthinking it IMO. You're better off just choosing defense or assault on how much ammo or health resources you have.

What I ended up doing was buying Assault Coin and using my Secrets of Defense scroll along with it.

For those whom may have been better at avoiding damage and saving ammo, you may be better off with the defense coin for the 3rd boss fight where it's hard to avoid hits.
