Did not expect that (Early boss fight spoilers)

In the garage sequence, if you try and get in the car when Jack is close to you he will pull you out, start the car, and try to ram you with it. Frantically running around avoiding the car while shooting at him was insane lol. At one point he even spun the car around in circles for a few seconds before racing towards me.

Not knowing what to do, he killed me shortly after I tried shooting the gas tank.

I beat him easily on my retry by starting the car away from him and crashing him with it, but it was cool to get that surprise attack the first time around.

I wonder if there is a way to beat him while he's driving it. You probably have to trick him to crash against the wall ot something.

That was a really cool and intense moment. Loving the game so far.

He also chops your leg whiel chasing you in house

I kept slashing him with the knife in his face while he was driving in circles. I just stayed close to his car door and he couldnt run me over lel.

Nice! Personally after a million fails, I figured out what to do with the car...but that's a pretty cool alternate outcome (must try it out on my second playthrough...and knowing me, I'll try to block an oncoming car with my arms :P).

Right lol. I might try and do it just to see if you can beat him while he's driving around in it.

Huh. Seems like you'd end up wasting a bunch more ammo than if you just rammed him with the car and stuff. Still would be cool to try out.

That's why I totally love what they did with RE7, the fact that even if the game has scripts, there are multiple ways depending on how you play. I was totally amazed by the leg scene when I was playing, and that Jack was making fun of me while I was trying to crawl to recover from it lol. This is the type of things I like when playing a horror game, variety and surprise.

This is kinda different to just "have bullets and shoot the bad guy".

Yeah, we'll have to see that ! Also, be sure to check those death scenes, Mia sawing you off from the front was crazy.

Yeah the Mia scene happened to me! That was pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up but awesome lol. Jack is a hilariously fun villain. I have no idea how we're supposed to beat him (haven't finished the game yet) but I'm looking forward to that final boss fight for sure.
