about zombies and or infected folks?
(I was careful not to spoil anything in this reply)...
Well a zombie is an automaton. Or the un-dead. They qualify for both senses of the word.
Just because in each game there is different virus and so with it different zombies it dont change a thing.
Even in 4 and 5 you had infected people that were pretty much zombies. Human enemies infected with some virus.
On other hand in this one "zombies" are straight up monsters! Not human at all! Even I as someone who thought villagers in 4/5 were still pretty darn close to zombies cant say that these things are zombies. Not talking about the family ofc.
To me it seems like people are trying way too hard to make it a Resident Evil game.
"This is just like first Resident Evil 1!" ...umm but there no zombies?
"Resident Evil was never about zombies!"
This guy gets it, Evil corporation, Evil Viris, Evil Mutated Beings, its all about the chemistry.
Crimson up in here wants to get into dichotomous topics like voodoo magic zombies vs undead and ♥♥♥♥, lol.
If anything I find these new "zombies" to be much scarier in design.
However I find it hard to say that the original Resident Evil games were not about the zombies more like the series went into a different direction and evolved, much like the monsters.
Well, the creatures anyway. Not including NPCs and ♥♥♥♥.
