Mouse cursor always showing when playing with a controller

So, is there any way to disable the mouse cursor in this game when playing with a controller? I'm aware I can drag it out of view, but that's pretty annoying when playing with a controller...

Yep, I have exactly the same issue. To think I decided to buy Steam version when I have Xbox One to have a better graphical experience...

Bleh, based on the comments above it looks like Capcom again did not include a mouse hide function when playing with a controller. Really lame!

Also Capcom did the same stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ with RE6. If you used a controller, the slightest touch on the keyboard would change the controls to mkb mode and throw a giant message in t he middle of the screen. Although I do think the mouse was hidden properly.

Ironically, when I fired up the game today, the mouse cursor was hidden and stayed that way. Came out and back in, still hidden. Did they patch this?

No, i got it at release and did not encounter this problem... (wired 360 controller)

I'm just playing it now for the first time and I've got the mouse cursor stuck on screen.

If I keep looking left or right I can use the mouse to hide the cursor in the bottom corners of the screen but it keeps coming back.

Yeah did the same thing for me the first time I played it. Then I came back today, and the cursor was hidden. Really odd.

I'm still having this issue...

If you're encountering issues with the cursor showing up on PS4 controllers- use DS4 and then set touch pad to controls instead of mouse. That fixed the issue for me. What was happening was that the touch pad was super sensitive by default on PC. So swiping your thumb across the analog would move the mouse unintentionally. I have also used Xbox elite controller and there were no issues. So I'm assuming those that are experiencing the issue is using a PS controller.

bit of a necro post, but alt-tabbing out then in seemed to fix it for me
