from the info its a plantation these can have a multitude of buildings depending the type of plantation involved length of the game i am sure will depend on how much you look around for those hidden things like in the teaser

No, you actually fly to Mars halfway through the game.

It's on an entire family plantation with multiple locations above ground and underground. You also have to take into consideration the hidden nooks and crannys of the house,etc. It is said that the game played straight forward without looking for all the secrets, etc is approx 18 hours

Yeah, cause spending an entire game in one house and the surrounding areas isn't something RE has done since literally the first game in the series.
