Canon or not?

So I assume that banned footage 1 and 2, 21, daughters, nightmare etc etc is canon and that it actually happened but what about that Jack's 55th birthday mode, did that actually happen? Is it canon like the other dlcs? Because it didn't look serious to me, more like a parody.

Jack's 55th Birthday is the only canon. The rest of the DLC and the game itself was noncanon.

Jack was just hungry on his birthday and Mia helped the Bakers celebrate it by gathering the best food she could.

That whole bioweapon thing in the main game was just a fever dream

But no in all seriousness, 21's probably "canon" but not really important, Nightmare almost certainly isn't just because of how it functions, Daughters is obviously canon and Bedroom *probably* is but like 21 its not really important if it is or not

Cannon is a piece of military equipment, canon is entirely different thing.

It's possible with all those hallunications. Eveline makes them play a game for her personal amusement.

Plus the game implies that being molded increases appetite.

Daughters is canon. Ethan must Die obviously isn't. Nightmare isn't canon either unless you could really think of a normal guy crafting guns and ammo from junk to survive hordes of enemies.

Nightmare and Bedroom could be canon or not, it certainly doesn't matter anyway since they're just Clancy's mini-games and don't affect the plot in any way.

I have yet to play Jack's 55 Birthday so I don't know about that.

For me I don't take Resident Evil 7 as a canon to the Resident Evil franchise. I seriously hate the changed that Capcom has made for Chris Redfield. I won't accept this. I don't care what others think or says about Chris with big muscles. Think about it, for the last 19 years of his life, He fought and trained to face new B.O.W with missions he took. The day he lost Jill on that night hunting Albert Wesker, who he taught she was dead. Made him realized that he doesn't want to lose anymore comrades, so he trained to be better, stronger and learning every set of fighting skills all for the soul purpose of taking down Umbrella. And in RE5, he defeated Wesker. But of course the war isn't over yet. So take that all in account, is it worth a changed of Character for Chris? Personally, NO. But I'm glad when Resident Evil: Vendetta the movie came out, Chris was still Chris (thank you Capcom). When I last saw him in RE6. Now that I considered as CANON! Scratched RE7! RE Vendetta is the true sequel that takes place after RE6. So all you naysayers, SCREW YOU!
