Cheat Engine Anti-Cheat Message

I decided that after I beat the game that I'd like to take this single-player game and mess around with some values and see what I can do to make it actually fairly amusing, and sure enough, CAPCOM put a stop to that. Thanks, I mean, sure it stops the people that will just cheat their way through Madhouse difficulty (and I won't lie, I did think about it), but for people like myself that like to just mess around with the game and see what I can move around, why did they do that? Plus, in addition, this is the first game in years that was single-player with no networking in sight!

Just because it isnt networked doesnt mean it doesnt have a competative nature to the game. Already its being whored out for speed runs and completion times. I really dont understand why people cant just enjoy the game for what it is and stick with the experience the devs made for them. The amount of cheaters, even in single player anymore baffles me. Sometimes I wonder why some people even bother playing video games at all.

Like I said, I did play it, and I did enjoy it, but I just wanted to see what else there is to mess around with. Sometimes cheats make games more fun. To be honest, the selling point of this game (horror) gets old after one round through, hense why I got a little bored with it after one go. But yeah, I did load it up again and I'm almost done again...

Yeah it has something to do with this new anti cheat software they're now using. I read somewhere some guy changed the name to cheat engine to trick it in letting you open it while the game was running otherwise when you tried it shut the game right down. But that is yet to be proven as I haven't seen it work.

I've not played this yet and I do not intend to cheat in any way takes the thrill out of it but I will say this. If you PAY for the game that copy is yours and you should be able to do whatever you want with it in SINGLE player, I will always say cheating is not a good thing because I am an old man and old school gamer and if any hacks or cheats will impacted other peoples online experience IE: multiplayer then it should be stopped and those people should be punished.
But as I say you pay for the game so you should be entailed to cheat in single player or mod single player if you want to as it's only effecting that one person.

Free trainers work for this game... just use Google. I'm not naming names here in case they get shut down. The Cheat Engine forums basically got shut down so no one's allowed to post tables any more.

Cheat Happens requires a subscription fee but their trainer has worked since day 1... there are other sources as well.

Cheat Engine was disabled since day 1 of this game's release, if you so much as open it, the game detects it and crashes... just find a trainer.
