Huh, interesting. I figured it was always only viewable in the inventory, which made sense to me.
In any event I'll take that small concession over getting motion sick and nauseous via unplayable FoV's anyday :P
He was saying a higher FOV will allow you to see the watch, not the other way around. And he didn't say it could be seen at all times, but rather asking if there was a way.
You can see the watch while blocking
But only with certain weapons equiped
and only is the FOV is set high enough
I am guessing that VR players can just look at it, and maybe move their arm into view as well
