Stuck after the Birthday Cake Puzzle! :-/

Hi can anyone provide me with a save prior to the "Birthday Cake Puzzle" Please?
I've been following a walkthrough Guide, I didn't clean the telescope to do the puzzle on the wall, to get the straw doll, also not grabing the Quilll Pen and Winding Key, any help would be much appreciated!

1. Savefiles won't work.
2. What exactly is your problem? You skipped half a puzzle. Where? In the VHS? on Ethan?

It's easy

HOVER TO READ THE TEXT SPOILER

-Enter the Room (With Ethan for sure not VHS)
-Then grab the candle
-Walk to the Cake so the conversation triggers
-Get back to the Heater and light the Candle again
-Go to the door and burn the Rope
-Now head to the Door with the Lock and enter "LOSER" as Password
-Get the Valve
-Go back to the Cakeroom, use the Valve to stop the Water
-Light the Candle back up
-Go back to the Room and stick the Candle into the cake

Thats it you won't get killed and story progresses, it's not finished there but i won't spoiler

Um if you mean as the main guy you're playing as and not the guy on the VHS then you don't do anything other than burn the rope with the candle then enter the password into the doorlock in the baloon hallway. Then you just gett the valve handle and it's that easy you don't have to do any of the other ♥♥♥♥ as the password for the door is the same as in the video.

I did the Candle Part of lighting the Birthday Cake, Prior to that discovered the telesope down the toilet didn't know what to do with it at first, since that point I placed the boom on the wall to exit and now I haven't got the Winding Key and Pen?

if you already placed the candle on the cake you dont need anything else from that room

So you did not played the VHS i get? Read my Post and hover the Black to see how the Puzzle works to not get killed.

Why you want to clean it anyway?
Why is there a guide for that topic is easy and logic O_O

You do NOT need to do that

If you are in the VHS take, yes you have to do it

If you are playing as ethan and proceeded to that part of the Game YOU DO NOT need to clean it.

In order to clean it just pick it watch throug it and walk through the Passage where the Water comes down...

It's really not that hard and i won't bother to post anymore about this cause it's as simple as it gets.

The telescope is broken in my game, there literally was no way to clean it. Just google the first lock combination. The password for the second lock is always the same, it's loser.

And yes, I did look through it while walking through the water because that was the only thing that made sense, But yea, you literally don't need to do anything to get through that part of the game other than get the valve, which you just burn the rope with the fire and put in the password.

Trust me, I burned myself to death doing the puzzle the same way when Ethan goes through because I thought maybe some scripted crap would save you.

You should be able to press f on the thing in the barrel and it twists out. You don't need it though and getting it will get you killed.

So if you already managed to exit the room, then puzzle's finsihed.
you do not need the Winding key and Pen.

Ah yes sorry about that, I've just watched a video on Youtube about it! :D
