NO SOUND BUGS..
there's literally no sound, like the windows is muted or the sound setting is set to 0, except all audio volume is not muted or turn to 0...

i know there's people complaining about the audio desync bugs, but this is 100% no sound at all, and i even run other games for checking sound, or music player, the audio is fine, nothing wrong..
i have updated the VGA driver, re-checked all the sound setting for this game..

but STILL NO SOUND...
help?

I have the same problem. Drivers are up to date and I deleted and reinstalled the game. Everything is completely silent when the game loads.

Sound is fine on other games, I can even get sound from youtube videos on the steam browser while the game is running.

Just did some trouble shooting and the audio plays fine when I switch the default device to my in-monitor speaker via HDMI, but when I switch default back to my headset (Razer Kraken 7.1 -- USB headset) everything else plays fine except for this game.

ah what a coincidence... my headset is razer kraken 7.1 too.. so it seems the issue is from the headset.. or maybe the synapse?? i will try to check the synapse..

Okay, found something that seems to have worked.
For some reason the registry file has it set to mute.

Read this Reddit thread and follow the steps, will probably work for you:

Or something less invasive... open the game, then go into Synapse. Select your headset, go to the mixer and you should find the game muted (for some reason). You should be able to unmute and go from there.

so it is indeed the synapse that automatically turned the RE7 sounds off... lol..

Try to remove MSSpatial.dll. It works to me

what worked for me was to turn on virtual surround. For some odd reason, my receiver will stop working right when it got into the game. The intro will have sound, and on my receiver it'll display the 5.1 speakers. But as soon as the game hits, it's 2.1, and no audio, until i turn on virtual surround.
