Blue Dog Head GLITCH!!!

Beware!!! Somehow I managed to get the white and red dogheads first. For some reason, when i try to open the book for the Blue doghead, it doens't even give me a command prompt. i've tried everything from reloading my save, to restarting the game and loading my save. this is all after i went and got the shotgun, and fought the guy in the "Butcher shop".....WTF...

I had to restart my game. Its not all that bad considering I knew exactly where to go and what to expect the second time around. I finished the game, and i'm getting ready to run through a second playthrough. this game is so awesome!

@Fubar, thanks for this post. I think I just ran into the exact same problem. I have two dog heads now but missing the last one - the one inside the book in the recreation room. However I can't pick up the book from any angle or distance, there is simply no prompt.

When you said you restarted your game - do you mean you exited the game and came back, or do you mean you had to "start over" the game from scratch (losing all progress)?

Pretty sure he meant he restarted into a new game as he stated he knew where to go and what you expect. Honestly your pretty early in the game and restarting will help you locate things easier know what to do and probably even save more ammo this time around. it'll take like 20 mins to get back to where you were. yea it sucks but if you restart now you'll get over it pretty quickly and go back to enjoying the game (:

I literally haven't had a single issue besides a few stutters in the outside area. Why do people like yourself have to be so damn negative. Like why are you even on these forums if you dislike the game? Is this what your life has become? Haunting game forums to games you don't like? That's sad. You're sad sir. -_-

Edit. You don't even own the game yet you want to linger these forums bashing the game that doesn't make sense.

i own the game on ps4 and beat it already on madhouse so your argument is invalid

Thanks Jackal! In that case we will try to restart, although it'd be a bit tough as we are not fans of horror games and my friend and I took a brave, big step trying this game which we actually enjoyed due to how horrifying some parts were. We might give it a try again when we build up courage again LOL. Cheers man.

All you have to do is restart the game. It really doesn't take all that long to get there. I'm not sure what caused it all those years ago, but I beat the game a hand full of times and it never happened again. It was most likely because I was speed running the game at that time for the achievements. I must have done something before I was supposed to and triggered this bug. Ah well. Now that I'm seeing people still comment on this post, I have the urge to play through it again. Village was amazing and all, but this game will always hold a special place in my heart. What a comeback for the RE series.
