holy crap...what the heck is going on? Do I have to hit every bullet into her head? Because that's impossible with these controller controls. I played through the game normal with controller and only rarely was annoyed by the controls, becaue I still had enough ammunition to kill everything in front of me, but this? Will the whole game be like that in madhouse?

How are people on console gonna play this, when they can't switch to mouse and keyboard.

Did I miss ammunition? 1 next to the gun, 1 at the table on the food of the bed, 1 on the television, 1 on the table in the room with the boxes...

I can't kill her, and have no melee weapon when my ammunition runs out. Gonna try it with mouse and keyboard now, but that's no comfort to play on the couch :-/

This was the hardest encounter in the whole game, lol. I can't wait the rest of this difficulty setting

Her running attack ain't even the problem, thanks to the block, but those normal attacks of her are so devastating, even blocking will get you killed in 3 hits.

I'm going to Lucas's party now, I guess there are enough tips now for everyone that searches for advice on the Mia fight in Madhouse difficulty.

yeah i used all ammunition on her, had to use the axe to finish her off. only took a few hits. just started my madhouse run as well.

I ust tried muse+keyboard, lol, this is even crappier then with controller, so I guess you are supposed to miss a few hits anyway, nobody will aim perfectly with these controls.

lol, im using the controller also. just more comfortable with it. thank god for the axe, otherwise i would of been screwed. my aim is horrible.

I left it in Mia's shoulder, I don't htik I'm supposed its still there.

Anyway, axe doesn't help much so far, gotta stop playing for a while. This is so freaking difficult. I put at least 10 bullets in her head, a few into her body, the rest a pixel to far to the side of her head...wished I didn't safe before getting the axe, not gonna use the second casette already :-D

I'll report as soon as I managed to kill her.

I started on Madhouse right away. I put all 27 bullets in her head and had to hit her several times with the axe. Just stand close to an edge and hit here before she swings the chainsaw.
The axe SHOULD be were you fought her the first time. Depends on "dying" location

YEah yeah, already got it. You shot all in the head and still need the axe? I was expecting this ode to be fun with a bigger challenge, but this is crazy...mad...mmh.

space your shots out. i read online that if you shoot mia while she is in a staggering animation, that it doesnt count. so its a waste of bullets.

Nope. Anything will be removed in the next Part. And Garage Jack can be done knife only/car

i dont know, haven't tried. i mean, you lose the gun anyway when jack knocks you out. would be surprising if you could keep the ammo.

Yes, most of the rounds should be headshots but this fight was not that tricky for me. Keep your distance and attack as she slowly shambles towards you. When she charges at you resist the impulse to fire at her, instead block and you'll grapple with her: mash R2 (or whatever key it is you're using) and you'll kick her off of you, taking no damage. She will then slowly walk towards you again. Repeat this attack pattern, and close the doors on her to strategically reload if you need to.
