I dont think the poor lad has..
Although in their defense, old RE's didn't have one "Every 15 minutes".
I wouldn't say RE7 does either. I've never seen a horror game with a boss fight every 15 minutes.
I don't remember any RE game (or any other game actually) that has so many boss fights.
I have 5 hours played and have encountered 4 bosses. The first couple of hours I didn't encounter any, so that's 4 bosses in 3 hours.
Considering I have died ♥♥♥♥ knows how many times now, and replayed these fights so many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times due to how stupid they are, I can promise you that I haven't gone more than 20 minutes without meeting a boss since that second fight with the dad.
The first fight in the garage was just stupid, pressing mouse to push car in whatever direction the game wants to trigger the cinematic. Boring.
After that it was about an hour or so I guess, but in that hour I took about 8 or 9 attempts to get past the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ basement with those stupid swamp zombie things.
Then the second fight, again 8-10 attempts to finish that stupid ♥♥♥♥.
Finish that, walk outside, within 20 minutes I have flamer and the woman shows up. Most ridiculous boss fight ever, just stuck in a tiny hole holding down left mouse to burn her until she falls in.
Crawl through, into the next house, she is back, long arms and all, next boss fight is there, within 10 minutes of the last one.
If this is how it goes from here on, please let me know, I won't bother playing any more.
This one has ceased to be a horror game now as well.
It's just generic shooting at bosses game. Witha bit of walking to the next boss, then shoot some more.
What makes it worse is how great the game was in those first couple of hours.
The demo most definitely didn't give any indication that the game would be like this.
There are way more bosses in RE3 for example, if you count all Nemesis encounters.
Because yes, the majority of what you call "bosses" are just events. You're not even forced to shoot for some of them.
If you're struggling on Normal, then you're doing something wrong.
I've died two times in this game so far and only because I seriously didn't know what to do, and both times the answer was "Keep shooting".
