Only if you wanna see how well the game runs on your PC.
Beware, if you have a Phenom CPU you wil likely get crashes in the main game, but not in the demo.
Demo is simply a demo.
oh i see
but there bit where you play a vhs video and it shows you footage
that reporter guy in the demo
and where you try to escape the house is the demo, it all that stuff in the main game?
It's set up differently. Yes the vhs part is the same. However that's the only similarity.
The demo is all about you escaping the house. In the main game you're not trying to get out at all.
If you play the demo, which I did to test out if my system could handle it which it did only to find out that RE7 won't play on my system without crashing (basement crash which so many others are experiencing).
Be careful, just because you can play the demo does not mean you can play the retail.
As far as the story line is concerned, it pretty much allows you to play a very small part of the retail with a few exceptions. The demo tells you to escape the house which can be done quite easily.
The demo is mean't to introduce you too the atmospheric nature of the game itself along with using the VCR, and following simple steps on how the game works.
Only happens with Phenom processors so if OP doesn't have a Phenom then he should be fine. As log as his specs meet requirements of course.
I have a intel cpu so im gonna hope i dont have issues
lastly you know the game, there is multiple way to do things right? like the demo you can finish it fast and miss some things out, is that the same with the full game#? i want to experience all the endings and all the side missions and not leave anything missed, i tend to never replay a story campaign so Id want to do everything in this game (since its so short)
There are two endings, you could always save a certain point to go back and get them both. The only thing that happens differently in the game is boss fights, they can play out in different ways, but other than that and the two endings, you'll see everything the game has to offer in one play through.
That said, madhouse mode mixes things up and from what people are saying is well worth playing after you've finished the game.
