2- I'm not really sure what is this question about. That applies to every Baker. They don't always want to kill you right away. That's because of Eveline's whole "family" crap with her infection.
3- To atract her bugs
4- Enemy design. Nothing special about it. Jack doesn't really run as well.
5- Zoey is her daughter. There are files in the game pointing that they were being merciful while the infection was taking over. One specific file quotes Marguerite "getting sick of you bitch (Zoey) already". The E-type infection comes and goes as well, remember Mia in the guest house.
6- Again, just like question n°2, The E-type infection revolves around the whole "part of the family" crap.
There is also a few hints in some documents and dialogue that she may have had a miscarriage or otherwise lost a child, and this has left a gaping wound in her psyche. Given the Japanese's love for symbolism, I believe Margie is supposed to represent a broken mother who was made whole in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up way by Eveline. To her, Eve was the child she lost.
I must admit that I didn't form these ideas on my own- look up a YouTube channel called NightMind, he has a great longform video dissecting the various symbolism and analogies throughout RE7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3P92md6RfE
Enjoy!
