Bedroom is even shorter from 10 to 20 minutes long, just escape the room, nothing special.
21 is also a minigame type of mode were you play a simple card game with the AI.
Nightmare and Jack's 55Th birthday are survival hi-score based missions which are meant to eb replayed. No story here (dunno if Jack's birthday is canon).
I really want to buy Jack's Birthday though, but the thing just feels like a rip off at that price.
I'll just wait for the free DLC, if that ever comes out.
Vol. 1 is worth the price. You get a short, but great room escape story, as well as two highly replayable combat game modes.
EMD is akin to 4th Survivor / Tofu of RE2 and was a blast to play fail endlessly until I got gud.
Nightmare is a skill reliant action filled resource managment survival mode. Each completion (or fail) awards more options in terms of traps, weapons and an additional difficulty. You most likely wouldn't be able to finish it on the first try, but the second try would have more content and so forth, allowing for different tactics.
Vol. 2 now... 21 is autrocious. It's drawn out, hard and boring. I really enjoyed the first round of it. But after that... No. Just no. Second round is garbage and the third, though better, after being exhausted from the first round it is doesn't really feel all that pleasant. There are saves in between of them, so one can take a break after the second round.
But after completing the three story rounds you unlock an endless mode with rewards system akin to Nightmare - you fail, but unlock something for the further tries. It's a disaster. Extremely slow. Extremely hard to the point of being unfair. Just no.
Jack's 55th Birthday. Like people above said - it's a mercenaries. Now I never was a fun of this mode in any of the other RE titles, so neither did I like it here. It's not bad and can be entertaining (it was kind of for the ~hour that I played it. I didn't finish all the maps), but it's not my cup of tea.
Daughters. The true worth of this DLC. It's great. Fantastic even. After the impact of the main story-line this addition feels just right. But yes. It is short. It has a maximum of two playtroughs in it, so overall shouldn't take more than one hour. Emotional impact makes it worth it as a part of Season Pass price, but buying Vol. 2 solely for it... It costs too much. No matter how fantastic it is - buying a pack of three DLC for a single short one is not worth it.
So yeah. I fully recommend Vol. 1. I wouldn't buy Vol. 2 as stand-alone, but as a part of Season Pass? Yeah. Plus there's still a third DLC in the works (for season pass) which is promised to be a story oriented. Considering how good the Daughters were, I have high expectations of it.
The others are alright, but, I didn't enjoy them as much as I probably will enjoy Not A Hero.
