For me, the only real use of Shadow mode, is to disable 3 guards at the same time, with a samourai in it.
Hey, Keraøc.
You actually can "time" your actions with Shadow Mode. You can execute Shadow Mode for each character at individual times. There are key-bindings for executing Shadow Mode for each character as well as a key-bind for executing Shadow Mode for all characters simultaneously.
Check out the "Key-Settings" and you'll find the key-binds :)
Also, if you may not have known, you can set waypoints for movement, like an RTS game. Note that, like all actions in Shadow Mode, only one waypoint can be stored in Shadow Mode, so you can't save up a string of waypoints and then execute the whole path.
This should open up a whole lot of new strategies for you! Get creative :)
Good luck!!!
Shadow mode is good as it is and it's very useful, especially in later missions. Not only to dispatch several guards at the same time. I use it often to distract some guards with another character or characters and do something else with the one I'm controlling directly.
Sometimes I even use it with just one character, when I need to do several different actions in short time.
