Well I was a sucker for the art and music and japan style game. But your right this game isn't for me. I'm not saying its bad as far as a game design or mechanics go, just to me its boring. And annoying to have to use more than 1 charater.
I will give the game credit for not being as easy mode and most games today are though. Thank god we as gamers are finally leaving the era of I can't loose no matter what. Or all i gotta do is tap a button fast. Like Witcher 3 or Skyrim
If you thought Witcher 3 was all about 'tapping a button really fast' you must have been playing it on easy mode, in which case that's your own fault.
Ok 2 buttons fast in witcher 3. Happy? Dodge and attack. Doesn't change the fact they rushed it production to the exstent you feel like running with the bulls runing over people every town you go in. Or when in combat 1 wolf starts the epic fight female yoddlers. I mean come on its 1 puppy i could got take a ♥♥♥♥ come back and kill it. Thats not epiic
I have to agree with him that Witcher 3 is very easy. Even on Death March with scaling turned on, there isn't much challenge. I don't consider this a negative though. Witcher is all about the storyline. If I want to get my ass kicked I will play Dark Souls or Monster Hunter. Geralt is a badass! He shouldn't be losing.
More on topic. I've had this game in my wish list for years. I'm tempted to buy it (Hence why I am here). This is the cheapest I've seen it.
ironically, my biggest issue from the demo is also the party aspect. Party games are tedious micromanagement usually. Is that often a problem here later on? It's been a long time since I tried the demo.
I don't recall this being a problem. Often what you'll do is find a suitable location for party member 1, then leave them in hiding while you find a suitable location for member 2, etc. There isn't a lot of rushing back and forth between members, though there are a few instances where it helps to use queued up combos from multiple people - but the game makes this fairly simple to coordinate.
Yeah, got it for FREE today and really enjoy it.
I guess you'd know a dim bulb alright.
