Do the Mac and PC versions sync their save files back and forth?

Looking to start this up but wondering if I need to commit to one or the other, or if it'll transfer my save file between my computers.

It use steam cloud save, so if you're playing it through steam it will stay synchronized.
If you are not steam user tou can still copy your game save manually

Yep I'm playing through Steam, but specifically wondering if the save file will transfer between the Mac and PC versions when I switch between them. It sounds like that's supported by some games and not others (cross platform save syncing). I can give it a try myself later today and see.

I tried it on multiple Win PC's and it was working fine. You'll need to test Win / Mac compatibility by yourself and let us know :)

I can confirm that the save games between the PC install and the Mac install are fully compatible. I've been playing on PC (Windows 10) for the past few days and got to level 6. This morning I installed the game on my MacBook Pro and was able to load all the save games I had previously saved from my PC.

Thanks Rouzzer for confirming! Got sidetracked here with other games on the backlog but that is fantastic to hear, can't wait to dive in.
