If you kill someone with a character who isn't Hayato, you failed the badge and it turns red?
Also, if you already gained the badge you can't lose it anymore.
For anyone who still needs an answer to this:
Okkoto himself counts as a guard and the final blow (apart from the cut-scene) must be by Hayato.
He is one of only two kills which you must make to complete the mission. The other can't be moved so gets blown up when the depot is destroyed.
I don't know which of the other enemies count as "guards". I didn't kill any of them, though there's almost certainly an easier way to get this badge.
not necessarily. You can (pre)-kill him without Hayato and still earn the badge.
hint : Explode him !!!
another hint to kill everybody only using Hayato :
you can shoot the samurai with Takuma or using the matchlocks of Yuki and Mugen, then finish the guy with the sword of Hayato
Mugen has a wrist cannon which outright kills samurai.
Thanks for this.
Words have a meaning.
'Guards' means 'guards'.
Guards have a 'tag name' indicating guards, while other types of ennemies have another name.
While this is slightly discussable for Officers and even more for Straw Hats, it is definitely not discussable for Samurais.
Samurais have specific attributes, such as immunity to standard attacts. The game describes Samurais as different from guards, and the game advises to address Samurais in a different manner as standard ennemies.
If anyone cares about rectifying this mistake, I suggest the following wording:
'Kill ennemies only with Hayato'
OR EVEN BETTER
'Kill only with Hayato'
Good luck with the mission!
It's an amazing mission when you consider it, only using a single character to complete it, with all the Samurais around!
I'd like to thank the developers for a great game which has entertained my evenings for years! Please continue this great work, perhaps with other civilizations or cultures, how about one in the Middle East, one in South America etc... ?
