Does Badges any sense?
If you get all the achivements of a mission? You get extra content or smth or they are just for fun?

you will get a dedicated achievement for completing all badges. no extra content. badges can be hard. we didnt wanted to hide content behind them so everyone has access to the full game!

if you look at badges after the mission you'll see that some of them are intended to give you an idea how you can play same mission with completely different approach. If you like a challenge and stealth approach you should try it again differently and will have fun again.
So thy're not just for fun (not all of them), but to add additional challenges

I like this idea with these badges. Already kept me motivating to play the demo over and over. I just finished Mission 3 yesterday and some badges are really pretty difficult to get it seems. Looking forward to this challenge :)

yay I hate when playing a video game I feel like i'm forced to play a certain way to unlock skills or abilities.

I dunno, but it seems like backwards game design when developers reward people for playing a game well by giving them stuff to do even better and stuff to play with when people who do bad are the ones that are going to need those tools more lol.

I disagree. That's why the badges' list is only displayed after the first run : so you can play as you want on your first try.

Correct! Also you dont unlock any skills or abilities with badges. They are there to offer an extra challenge for people but dont unlock anything you could feel like missing out on.

Maybe this could be subject of a small patch in future to offer a cosmetic reward per level/game.

For example the ninja could be granted a horned Oni mask, the samurai a Naginata, sniper golden gun (classic!).

I'm myself against that kinds of useless rewards. Being able to complete a badge, is a reward itself.

Each to their own

I wasnt thinking in skills or abilities. Maybe some kind of skins for the characters, or some kind of photos from an art book. Just a little reward.

Sure, but it would be nice to have some special outfit for each character as a reward,a simple cosmetic =)

Im not an achievement hunter. Some extra rewards can motivate me quite a bit though. Im not speaking about in-game content, but more like an artwork gallery.

Right now there are two games coming to my mind. There is Giana Sister TD, in which you unlock artworks by finding hidden gems in the level. And Assault Android Cactus, where you earn points after every level, with which you can buy artworks, bios, background information about the universe or extra game options (like a 1st person mode, JJ Abrams Lens Flare Filter, change the size of the heads, etc). As you progress through the game, you also unlock the games sound-effects and music, that you can then access through an audio player in the main menu.
I really liked that. Maybe think about something like that for a sequel. It doesnt remove content from the game, but gives some extra motivation for a replay.

I find it a bit odd that there just seems to be an (steam) achievement when you unlock all badges and none for individual missions.
And then there are non-effort achievements like "run 500m with Kuma"..

Add another voice to those wanting to get something other than an achievement for the badges. I think they seem pretty interesting but not getting anything for them makes me hesitant to try them. It's admittedly a little sad that I can't get motivated enough without but that's the way it is.
