A small trick that you can use is: If you knock them out and pick their knocked out bodies up they wont wake up :) The time only runs down as long as they are lying on the ground.
Especially with characters that can carry corpses while staying crouched this is a great way to take 1-2 guards out for as long as you need.
I noticed that trick. Maybe you can consider this comfort improvement after the first major issues are fixed. Playing with mouse and keyboard it is not that important, I guess, but as I tried to play it with my gamepad (and I am not that used to it) it is really stressful. And it is not very motivating to have to reload because you forgot to knock the guy down, especially if you have to concentrate on another character.
Keep on the good work.
Cheers
Exactly. In Commandos you could just tie up everyone and completely empty the map if you wanted to. If you decided to kill everyone or just tie them up, didn't make a difference in the end when the map was empty just the same.
In Shadow Tactics, due to the guards waking up, there's a clear distinction between the two styles. I already prefer this approach over Commandos.
