Blackbeard encounter..

Has anyone come across this yet. the game tells me to board the ship to get info on blackbeard. i have boarded more ships that i can remember and still no info on him.

I have seen (after release) this quest coming to the point where I "use my old connections" on the first map and then it kinda stuck. Not the big deal, I was busy with other quests anyway.

Ahoy!
I got the same problem in the 'Black Beard' quest as described in the topic comment.
Although I completed the task the quest isn't finished.
The quest says: 'Aboard a ship and interrogate crew members'. I successfully boarded
over a dozen of ships in the Black Beard encounter but the task is not completed.
(at least I got a free ship ;) )
I tried different variations:
- boarded both ships
- boarded one, destroyed the other
- destroyed both
- boarded one then retreated
- destroyed one then retreated
- entered encounter then retreated

Is this a bug or did just misunderstood the quest description? Game version is 1.0.5
Can anybody help?

have same problem,I completed quest its gona totally.but I keep getting attacked by black beard and its getting annoying.

I have the game set to easy, and all the boarding crew set to maximum xp, and still lose half the time - even with upgrades.
