Report a translation problem
to further clarify the fix that is already in my main post (which you must have not read):
you or your friend creates a room. the other person who has NOT created a room joins a RANDOM ROOM. if the random room he has joined is not YOUR ROOM he then leaves and exits his game. during this time you CONTINUE TO HOST YOUR ROOM. your friend then re launches his game and now he types in the NAME of your room to join it. and the entire time you are both doing these steps be in the same region (ie: US)
this is how i was able to join my friend after getting the same error you are getting.
