Have you done the tutorial (it shows how) - Essentially you just pull up next to the ship -I wish there were more buttons and controls because tactics seem limited....Like beings able to pull right next to them an strafe the deck from point blank and circle away a few times before boarding.

My question (semi-related) is that I cannot find a combat toggle- It either automatically gives methe cannon icon or the map icon depending on circumstance but I would like to have control over this and cant seem to find a way...

Same with slowing speed down. I can easily speed things UP 200% but then I'm stuck there until I use a spyglass(which sets speed back to normal)-I cant find any button that lets me toggle speed back down.

Am I missing something? I have to be.

@ OP.....Do missions for the Kingdom and Seekers...they seem to pay well. Also, buy goods at the TC islands marked with the green percentage signs; then sell at the red ones anywhere. Do this whilst doing missions. Also. you can hang out at 'freindly' cannon towers and pick up loot that gets left after battles.

@Ma9nUs Gaming.....the guys with the twin axe motif give you 30 free fireball cannon balls whenever you visit them (max 30, no more) Pirates give you free rusty cannon balls if your are a pirate whenever you go into a pirate port.

I found I never got it at all, even when first started playing.
I docked at every pirate port, got nothing.
Figured you need a better than neutral rep or that it was bugged.
Honestly though...why sink boats? Better to kill sails, then the crew with the right cannon balls, then board.
Only board when the red crew health bar wont go any lower, you can check on stats via spy glass as you fire.

Cannon balls cheap.
Level ups in cannon range
Grab the long range cannons.

Just grab cannon balls that damage sails and crew.
Capture boats and sell them.
Or buy Tobacco at green % sell at red % towns, it is that easy.

I just found a bug (or at least I think it's a bug).....if it's the way how you want to make your money. It's located in the quest "mystery island II" maybe you don't want to become the queen 2 with it, because you already have, but you won't need to worry about ammunition or upgrades.

Now, when the Infotext says that you have to destroy some returners, you can find the island in the yellow circle. It got a 100% discount!!!

Just get your autoclicker ready and buy as much things as you want. Store then in the warehouse, you can sell them when the quest ends. I made 3.6 million this way. Should be enough.
