AMD Fps Fix 2021

FPS issues with this game are infamous by this point. A multitude of fixes have been suggested with many of them applying only to NVidia builds. I, myself, am hoping for a bit of clarity with regards to modern AMD builds especially since I cannot get this game to run smoothly irrespective of the aforementioned wealth of fixes suggested over the years.

Here goes...

My FPS drops to around 10-15 fps which makes immersion in the game difficult for me. I have tried the following things to remedy this issue but none of them have worked (in isolation or in any combination...trust me)

+ using steam's Big Picture mode.
+ disabling the steam overlay / AMD overlay.
+ manually adjusting graphics settings in Windows 10's Graphics menu.
+ adjusting the in-game performance settings from the options menu.
+ adjusting every conceivable setting in AMD Radeon Software (both globally and individually)
+ altering "HighResTimer" to equal '1' in the config file.
+ altering "OverrideGXDIadapter" in the same config file.
+ using TimerTool to force timer instructions to 0.5 ms.
+ using Task Manager to set priority to 'realtime'
+ using Task Manager to alter CPU core usage in affinity settings.
+ trying to update and roll-back display drivers
+ ...and of course, uninstalling and reinstalling the game several times :(

If anyone has an AMD solution for this issue then it would be more than welcome in this community hub. If PC specs are required then the relevant ones can be found below.

I have this game for PS4 and it runs at a relatively stable 30fps.
When I bought the PC version I expected a minimum of 60fps and was utterly shocked when I booted it up for the first time. What a total mess! I refunded immediately.
I keep it in my wishlist and check the forums from time to time in the hope that it gets patched and discounted but it seems we'll never get the version we deserve.
Shameless really, it should have never been released in this state and then seemingly abandoned.

Same issue with 32fps. This game serves as a great example of how even brute force capabilities cannot overcome bad code/engine limitations.

Yeah, just started playing this game and the FPS can really tank, below 15fps in some cases. I have an older Vega 64 but that happening with a new RX 6800xt is completely unacceptable. I gather there is a fix with nVidia cards but it doesn't seem to work for AMD ones.
