How can I run / hurry / walk faster?
It is written in the settings for keys and controller that it is possible to go faster /hurry up /run.
But it doesnt work. Anybody have the same problem?
I played it trough and now I want to play again from the beginning but not soooo slow^^

Hi,
The "Run" key/button is not an instant sprint. The way it works is that it will build up speed over a few seconds (until you reach max speed) when you're holding the key or button down.

And sometimes, when the developer wants you to look at the art and go 'ooooh' - it'll slow the movement down to less than a crawl. - BOOO! Please let people play how they want to.

There is no run feature. There IS a hobble slightly faster button though.

The whole game is hobbled to make it seem longer than it really is.

It would be an ok game if they stopped trying to force people to appreciate their art. It's like someone grabbing you by the head and yelling "LOOK AT MY ARTS...LOOK AT THEM!!!" I just gave this game a second playthrough to see if I'd change my mind (I gave it a thumbs down). I did about the boring British soap opera content, It was boring and irrelevant, but livable, but the abysmally monolithic pace you move at really destroys this game. And it's clear from their comments the devs don't get it at all. Heck, my granny can walk faster than this game sprints and she's dead!

Haha, yeah it like a cross between "The Archers" and a tiny little Illustrated Bible.

I keep thinking of Coronation Street; that's the only British soap opera we get over here in Canada as far as I know. As far as content goes, that actually didn't bother me the second time around. What did bug me is the precidence given to that stuff, over the actual story...if anyone remembers there was an anomaly of some kind going on. That part of the game seemed just an afterthought. "Oh, Stephen's shaggin' Emmie, and Charlies drinking! Anomaly? Oh, that ol' thing, let me tell you about what the Parson's done! Shameful that is!"

It would have been better to leave that as backdrop stuff, and give the main narration over to the storyline stuff they demoted to the radios.

A tiny little illustrated copy of Philosophy for Pub Drunks?

You've earned my respect. Walking slow as hell one time is a great achievement, but doing it twice? That's one of the biggest achievements of all time.

If I do it a third time it's 'cause I'm punishing myself for doing something really bad.

There is a mod out there to fix the walk speed.
