I kinda wish there were Saves INBETWEEN AREAS and not just after you finish ALL the levels.
This is a glaring flaw.

But other than that, this game is pretty. Not the best game ever, but it's pretty, and the bosses are cool.
I'm still glad I got it on sale, though.

Me too! It's the only thing letting the game down. Also a super casual easy mode with infinite lives would also be good.

its part of the difficulty. quick save is after each map. Stage progress is saved after beating boss of the stage.

2 lives for each map is pretty easy...and unlimited continues.
