more options around affairs

so I just caught my first affair in the game and I’m a little bit unhappy. They were willing to get together, but failed the spinning wheel and split.
One of the cheaters is proposing to their girlfriend in the coming days and I’m not to thrilled. I’d much prefer if there was an option to tell their partner about their indiscretions or evict them with minimal or no penalty.
With my personal morals, it’s a lot less fun to assist people who have cheated achieve “happy ever after”. Especially when I’m so emotionally attached to their innocent and unknowing partner hahaha.
Please let me know if I’ve missed any features that may already cover this! Otherwise I may take the L and kick the two couples out.

Sadly, I don't think there's a way to help the two innocent partners with this, before or after you've 'resolved' the situation with the cheaters. It sucks that there's no option to help them, but there aren't any other options than to either carry on playing the game until you can naturally get them to move out of town, or to kick them out yourself at the cost of a hit to your reputation. I always wished that they would add an option to choose to help out the innocent partners instead since they're the real victims in this, but I'm not sure how big a change that would require. Maybe a way to tell the victims and then play a minigame to get them to start a new relationship together instead, or find both of them new partners whilst leaving the cheaters to their own business outside of town?

You could let the affair play out so the next leveling up event of the cheater will get ruined (the lover usually shows up or the cheater has very low mood) but that would still only alert one of the two injured parties.
