So I have put a lot of time into the game but I still am not sure on how to avoid the issue where the couple states they "don't know each other well enough" to go to the Happy Ever After. Do they need to talk about all their interests? Their personality traits? Food preference?

They need to talk about all of their personality traits, their belief in horoscopes and have revealed their inner type to someone. All things that have a question mark when they first enter the village :-)
