I could buy 30 generic dance pads for less than that........
I am gonna order a generic one just to see if it works....... $11 isn't much to risk....
Hey Ken, these pads being sold are definitely top of the line, for super serious dancers who are going to use a pad frequently. One thing to note is the MET pads have 2 extra buttons at the top of the pad, for switching characters.
Regular pads are generally just 4 arrows plus start/select, and so if you're using one (they do all work), you need to be holding a controller as well, to switch characters with the bumpers.
I don't have "trigger" inputs on the pad, but there are 3 squares that are not defined which i have defined as triggers using controller companion.
I found this game to be a little boring with the controller, I love the art tho so the dance pad made sense.......
........I think most of my friends would describe me as a "super serious" dancer.......
The movement in this game is way less physically intense than any of the Xone Kinect dancing games and it is a fun way to relax.
Enjoy your dancepad. Peace.
