Could I get more info? Does it crash and spit out a crash log? Or does nothing happen at all, or does a Steam install window come up and get stuck?
I launch the game, steam show i play the game but no game windows open, like nothing happen at all

Ya, a similar thing is happening for me. When I press play Steam gives all the usual indications that the game will start. Unfortunately rather than starting, Steam says the game is "running", and then just returns to the "Play" state (like the game had never been started).

Oh, also no indication of any crash log.

I had this problem before but solved it by manually installing XNA, you can find the installers in the game files:

Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Full Metal Furies\_CommonRedist\XNA
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Full Metal Furies\_CommonRedist\DotNet

I only needed to install the XNA but you might as well check if DotNet needs to be installed too.

The usual culprit for the game not popping up at all is third-party software, like antivirus, blocking it. Please try turning them off completely and run the game to see if that helps. If it does work, you can turn it back on and look into adding Full Metal Furies to that program's exceptions list.

Wow, thank you a ton, that fixed it!

Sorry to see other software's design flaws getting in the way of your game D: Hope the dev side goes well for ya'll, Rogue Legacy was a blast!

In my case, I click to open the game it starts trying to open and simply disappears, like I hit the play button, it passes about 5s and the play button is green again and the game doesn't open

Mine is giving this same problem

Yeah, mine crashes if I try to change the display settings to anything else than its tiny window settings. I can get to the menu, change the settings, and then crash dump. No antivirus is running.

I had the same problem and fixe it: it should be a problem of compatibility between x64 and x86:
to fix it: Using http://www.dll-files.com/ download the following:

msvcp100.dll 64 bit
msvcp100.dll 32 bit
msvcr100.dll 64 bit
msvcr100.dll 32 bit

Place the 32 bit files in C:\Windows\SysWOW64

Place the 64 bit files in C:\Windows\System32

That may not look right, but System32 is the 64 bit folder and SysWOW64 is the 32 bit folder.
Have the same problem, I would like to play this game with my friend but when I launch it I do have the message : "Launching the game" then nothing happens.
I tried to installing XNA via steams files and puting the Full Metal Furies files on exception list of my anti virus but nothing changes..
