Straight Up, The Charon Boss Fight Is awesome
And I adore the fact that it's just a giant love letter to Rogue legacy :).

When the phases turned to glaucoma, and then monochrome.... I started thinking, "ohhh please, don't do that upside down trait too"

Ahaha. I actually have that fight recorded. I had briefly forgotten about Vertigo- and then it hit and I was just -running around panicked. The Dementia phase actually is the least awful, by the point you get there.

It's my favorite fight in the game hands down!

It really was an amazing fight all around. I rather enjoyed how Charon keeps making new copies of himself, his variety of attacks, even though I was really rather annoyed by the "Doom" attack, and how you really needed to either have Triss with a good shield, or a low cooldown roll for Erin to avoid it.

The way that, unlike other boss fights, he completely changes the arena in incredibly dramatic ways was also my favourite, especially the names for his status effects. The True Final Boss just did not compare to that cramped, hellish landscape, and neither did they have Styx.

Styx is the best. I love her so much.

Yeah, it's an incredible boss fight. All my love for Rogue Legacy unearthed and concentrated in a single boss! The Dementia phase had me panicking a bit though, before realizing that the copies are harmless.

I second the love for Styx, too. She is one cool titaness.

Agree with all of you. Between him and the final boss, Charon was definitely my favorite, he had so many phases, too! And that music!

Fighter can parry it or leap it. Just press the parry right after the scythe appears over your head and you are set.

Also possible to time it with Sniper's grappel but thats really scary and the timing is tight.

easy with megs shield
Parrying Doom is awesome and feels good though :P. I'm looking forward to finding out how hellish that fight is going to be on NG+.
