How to play this game?

So I watched some Let's Play's on YouTube and I still don't know how to play it. I don't have the game, but I want to know if it's worth buying. If you can't beat the game, it isn't worth buying the game.

the best part of a horror game is not knowing what the heck you are doing (i still haven't watch lets players play it)

I know, and the game looks amazing. But the player needs to be able to finish it ;)

Tips:

Keep looking at the first doll, don't let her get you.

Clown Doll: don't move a muscle, not even your mouse.

Chester: Run away!!

I got to Chester and tried to run but it's just a very very slow walk and end up getting caught :p Any tips for getting away from him? :) I've been recording on YouTube and I tell you that dang clown has gotten me more times than the doll due to me bumping the stand my mouse is on lol

I bought the game but It is not letting me play it keeps showing me this
Your application is built to load COOKED content. No COOKED content was found; This usually means you did not cook content for this build.
It also may indicate missing cooked data for a shader platform(e.g., OpenGL under Windows): Make sure your platform's packaging settings include this Targeted RHI.

Alternatively build and run the UNCOOKED version instead.
Im new to playing games on my computer can someone help me?

W A S D to move. E or RMB to interact. LMB to use flashlight (once you get 1). Mouse to look around

KiKi: Comes at 12 A.M. Look at here when you hear her giggle until she dissapears.

Mr. Tatters: Comes at 1 A.M. Take your hand completely of the mouse when you hear his laughter (Don't Move)

Chester: 2 A.M. All i can say is, RUN LIKE HELL! Run until you get to a different room when you hear his high pitched laughter

Emily: Think of 4 A.M.-5 A.M. as a boss battle. At 4, find her before the timer runs out. Same w/ 5 A.M. except you r gunna have 2 deal with all the others 2.

To get to the basement, interact w/ the light on the left side of the closet.

And whatever you do.....dont go in the hole......HAVE FUN!!
