[SOLVED] Steam button and quick access menu buttons are unresponsive

Is anyone else running into the issue where the steam button and the 3 dot quick access button aren't doing anything at all? The Steam button will not enter big picture mode nor will it function inside of a game, and the quick access button is running into the same issue of not doing anything when pressing it as well.

I went to do an input test and both buttons are responding just fine and the steam button even turns on the controller when pushing it, so its most likely not a hardware issue. All other buttons are working completely fine.

Running Windows 11.

EDIT: So it turns out having *guide button chords for controllers* disabled in your controller settings also disables the steam and quick access buttons from functioning. I don't know if that's intentional or a bug but turning that setting back on fixed both buttons for me.

1. Go to Steam settings on the top left
2. Open the controller tab and click *Show advanced settings*
3. Click *Enable Guide Button Chords for controllers* and finally enjoy your controller.

I'm in the same situation, steam button doesn't open big picture mode, it couldn't open the menu while in big picture mode either. It works fine in the input test and long holding it can open a power menu but thats it.

Same issue here. Neither launches Big picture mode, nor accesses it even if already launched. Quick access menu also does not work in either situation.

Cannot modify what these buttons do which I get - but that also bars me from making sure its set up correctly if it decides not to work.
