Decay issue

Is part of the point of the game to beat the clock before everything decays? If so I'm not interested as the music suggests it's pretty chilled and was ready to play around with stuff finding different combos and working out what it all means.

No,Blocks won't decay if they've been proper supplied.

Hmmm, It really isn't. Of course if you have put a building complex down and have zero infastructure, you won't be able to meet demands, but who would do such a thing?^^

All things being equal, I'd like a game option to simply turn off/on decay in sandbox mode. Let me build however I please and turn on the process when I'm ready for it to "go live".

There's a grayed out checkbox in the options that turns off decay (cheat mode). I assume that it will be possible to do this after further game development. There is also decay recovery (easy mode) which you CAN toggle, but I have no idea what it does yet.

Wow... Even though i did the tutorial, i must be really incopetent do build, because my constructions always decay and fast. Am i missing something? :(

i plant trees, build a wind mil, and a grass plot and wait a couple of clicks and than i build on and keep production out of the red. Use "k" button to see how much of a excess/deficet to see how is it doing
