Zenless Zone Zero

no dx12 or fsr
I'm playing on a 9060 xt and I don't see the option in the launcher to switch to dx12, and even if I force it via argument "-use-D3D12" I don't see the options in the game for fsr or raytracing

same.. but i'm playing on a 6600
AMD cards don't seem to have the DX12 option for some reason, I've got a 9070XT and no options here either.
I've been forcing it through -use-d3d12, I've checked the game logs and it shows "Direct3D 12 [level 12.1]" naturally since D12 is being forced.

Beyond that, all I see is NvApi not being supported (duh) and some streamline loader errors (which are attempting to load DLSS and DLSSG) which is great and all (for Nvidia), but I don't see any log attempt to load any extensions for amd's .dll's alone or with its own loader, which are both present for framegen and the upscaler.

DX12 understands I have a 9070 XT but the game itself doesn't seem to care.

I've done everything I can, the new settings simply won't show, though I have a feeling they intended for RT to be Nvidia only, not sure, but the FSR .dll's support framegen and upscaling. Even if they've been there since 2.7, what gives? Waiting for a hotfix or announcement at this point.

Which means using DX12 for AMD gpu's is cosmetic, and the patch notes are lying for the time being in regards to FSR3. (maybe its a steam exclusive issue as well?)

and if they meant FSR3 'based on' support for Nvidia GPUs only... w-t-f.
Same as the other posters, it doesn't recognize DX12 even though my 7800XT is DX12.

Yeah, I somehow think that that they aren't going to support RT for AMD gpus, which would not make sense because the Playstation 5 runs an AMD SoC.

I hope I am wrong and it is just a bug.
another nvidia shill
It looks like a bug because both FSR upscaling and FSR framegen are available for Nvidia GPUs when you run the game in DX12 mode.

I hope you are right but the DX12 option does not even show up on the actual Hoyo Launcher either.
You're not missing anything. DX12 looks so bad.
forcing the game with dx12 still results in framedrops like it did before, i hate shaders
classic dx12 ultimate..
So Hoyo added both FSR and DLSS for the game, but it's only for NVIDIA cards at the moment. I haven't seen or heard them made a statement about AMD cards either.

Maybe its a driver thing from AMD/Intel more than the devs?
Yeah I’d at least think that AMD and Intel Cards from rx 6000, Intel Arc Axx0 and above would have Ray Tracing and FSR3 shown in the game but its a bummer.
The theory is:
1. Nvidia Exclusivity
2. Devs did not bother to add radeon/arc users
3. AMD/Intel did not release game ready drivers for it

Im also baffled that FSR3 won’t get universally added to all cards even older than RTX 20 and RX 6000 which FSR3 supports
Is dx12 for win 11 only? I'm on win 10 and i use the command but dlss doesn't show up in the game.
Edit: It's not the card since I'm using a 4090

it works for win 10 too u either have to update windows (not to 11 just a newer version) or have to check the box to use dx12 on the hoyoplay launcher (when I start the game from steam it starts the launcher then I have to click on play to actually start it Idk if its the same for everyone) but yeah the box to use dx12 is right under the start button on the launcher
I still don't understand how AMD's technology is implemented, being FSR, but AMD's HARDWARE CAN'T USE ITS TECHNOLOGY???
