True, yeah. I miss the old Tabletop RPG, too, it was some of the most fun times I ever had playing those games. Played a ton of HG2 multiplayer too, back in the day, even though it was kind of a mess. They were all great back then, Mechwarrior 3, Starsiege, Heavy Gear 2, it was good times for mech sims.

Would love to see a remastered HG1 or HG2.

With all the "Remasters" that have been coming out over the past couple of years that would be a GREAT way to revive Heavy Gear! I have both 1 & 2 on a Windows 98 SE computer I keep on hand for playing the old classics that won't run on newer machines. Once in a while I set it on the desk and plug it in and fire it up. And I don't have to wait on "Updates" to download and install like on more recent Windows OS and client bound games do.

They recently were working on some more tabletop (or something) stuff at DP9 but are so bitter about what happened that they are hesitant to authorize someone else to build another video game in the franchise. Let alone remasters.

i wish HG1 and 2 had a coop campaign sort of like MW5. would be cool to roam on a land carrier with a squad vs a dynamic campaign

They need to learn forgiveness and let go of the bitterness and resentment.
They are their own road-block to success harboring such negative feelings.

Given how small DP9 is compared to their heyday, I doubt they can let go of it after having their IP smeared by a pump and dump scam.
