For people who want to have their music back in their EWJ3D game.
Download the following file.

The Steam-EWJ3D-Musicfix.rar contains the music files that are needed, a dll file so the game can call for the music file and the EWJ3D.exe for game execuction.

Just dump them all in the EWJ3D folder. Rightclick on the ewj3d -> properties -> local files -browse local files.

Dump the files there and overwrite everything. Your EWJ3D will have music!
Just Steam overlay might not work anymore.

I tested it just now and it should just work. (clean ewj3d install and fix download, windows 7 pc)
Did you extract everything into the EWJ3D main map? Where the EarthwormJim3D.exe is. The rar file has a music map, a dll and exe file.
You must overwrite the executable (exe) in order to make it work.

Also note there is no music in the first menu (never was). So when you enter on play there should be music.

What operating system are you using? Because maybe you'll need to change compatibility mode of the exe.

This also works with the CD version of the game too. For some reason I wasn't getting any music with that until I loaded these files.

I noticed for the very first level, where you get the underwear for the chicken dude, it plays some annoying music thats like "you wanna RROOOOOOOCCCCKKKK" and soomeone is banging on a guitar, like im glad theres music but it ruins the nostalgia..

Its also different music for the grenades that roll down the slopes too. pretty annoying

is it just that i didnt install something right?

That might be because you played the N64 version.
The PC and N64 don't have the same music.

You can look it up on youtube.

I have the orginal CD for this game.
I can make a video if you don't believe me that this is the correct music.

I could try and help but i wouldn't recommend it on deck. As you need to download this zip file and add it to the location at which EWJ3D is installed. Even then i don't know if this fix will work on deck.
