This is such a great game with such a great team who developed it. In the beginning they really struggled with sound issues and performance but finally worked them out. I would love an Earthfall 2. It is such a simple formula which has proven to work. To me, the maps are all brilliant and the addition of Invasion was perfect. Sadly, they are no longer a company.

This is what the small development studios do I guess. They cannot hold on to everyone in between projects.

Ah, that's a shame.

It is a very enjoyable still.

I suspect sales weren't as good as they hoped. Mind you, they also had other projects on the go as well - and I suspect they didn't see the light of day, although they consumed time and money.

I still think their biggest mistake was releasing to Early Access far too soon, especially with the initial performance problems.

Wonder if the game will be removed from Steam ?

No need to remove it. As you mentioned the game is still good. I remember when this was released. AWFUL performance. They just removed the HD textures.

I'm think of the legal aspect. Afterall, the Deadpool game (for example) was removed when 2K (?) went under...

Technically, there should be no reason to remove it, but...

Did you read my OP? I said the dev's dissolved their company. In terms of the game being dead just because the dev's have disbanded, that's garbage. Do you think the L4D2 developers are sitting around waiting to start L4D3 and is L4D2 dead because there is no L4D2 team currently? I wish I had $5.00 for everytime you said you know the devs. I think you are a groupie.

I think grimm is just the typical group think gamer that only wants to play a game if other people are "online". Here they are complaining that there is no one in game, at least for the last time they checked instead of just looking at the stats. Ironically, it's the same reason the game is not active in terms of co-op. The same people who complain are really the same people whom are unwilling to make the game active unless it already has an active player base. If you don't want to do that, then please go away. We are long passed the days of why Earthfall didn't have a successful launch.If all you care about is new FREE content, go to fortnite, Apex Legends or COD Warzone. I'm sure you'll be right at home with all the other people who need validation by others watching them win a game.

they should've put the game on humble monthly like i suggested. the game had potential, it's just too bad that it didn't sell well enough to help the studio make a profit.
